HSBC Premier eligibility criteria

Unless you are already a Premier customer elsewhere with HSBC Group, you'll need to fund your account(s) and/or investments (your Relationship Balance) with the minimum balance of £60,000 or currency equivalent within three months of the opening date, and then maintain this minimum balance. A £35 underfunding fee will apply for any given month where your Relationship Balance falls below the minimum.

How to Apply

To apply for an HSBC Expat account, you'll need to complete an application form online and post it to us together with various supporting documents.

  • Have either $100,000 or more in personal assets held with HSBC.
  • OR HSBC mortgage(s) of at least $500,000.
