Eligibility
To invest in World Selection portfolio you must:
- be over 18
- have (or open) a Freedom Plus account
- not be resident in Australia, Canada, Cuba, France, Iran, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan or United States of America, and not be a national of the United States of America.
If you're considering a lump sum investment:
- the minimum investment is £/US$/€10,000**
- the minimum subsequent additional investment is £/US$/€2,000**
- the minimum amount invested in any one sub-fund should not be less than £/US$/€2,000**.
If you're considering a monthly investment plan:
- the monthly investment total should not be less than £/US$/€250**
- the minimum amount invested in any one sub-fund should not be less than £/US$/€100**
**The minimum balance required may be higher that specified on our website and application form for
nationals or residents of a limited number of countries.
Please note, we need documentary evidence relating to the source of the funds for all investments of £500,000 or more (or the currency
equivalent).
Please remember that any investments related to stocks and shares can fall as well as rise and the return from them may go down as well as
up, is not guaranteed, and you may not get back the amount you invested. This could also happen as a result of changes in the rate of currency
exchange, particularly where overseas securities are held.
Investing should normally be seen as a medium to long term proposition, for example 5 years or more.
