After your initial financial review, your Wealth Manager will be your main contact at HSBC Expat. Because they’ve helped you build your portfolio, they understand your situation and your approach to investing. They also know what it’s like to live and work abroad, and the unique challenges expats face. As part of their ongoing support, they’ll make sure you know about all the opportunities available to you – and they’ll send you updates on how your investments are performing.

On the move?

To give our customers a seamless service, we have teams of Wealth Managers based all over the world, based in Hong Kong, Dubai, South Africa and the UK. If you’re planning to move, we should be able to open accounts in the country you’re relocating to – so you can start using them on the day you arrive. We’ll also review your portfolio, to check it’s in line with your new financial situation.

You can call your Wealth Manager whenever you want to discuss your portfolio and check how your investments are performing.

Your Wealth Manager will also get in touch every year to find out if any of your plans or goals have changed. If they have, you may need to refocus your investment strategy to reflect the changes.

AssetMaster is an administration service that streamlines the buying, selling and switching of your investments. You can also use the service to check the value of your investments online. And because all your eligible investments are held in a single Jersey estate, it could make probate a lot simpler too.
