How it works

  1. Complete a referral form and include the code your friend or family member has shared with you.
  2. After completing the form, apply for your HSBC Expat Bank Account.
  3. Fund your account to £75,000 or currency equivalent within 45 days of opening it. 
  4. Maintain a minimum balance of £75,000 or currency equivalent for an additional 90 days.

If the referral is successful, £500 cash (or the currency equivalent in USD and EUR) will be credited to both you and your friend.
